MAKE it yourself!!

Yes, you get to make your own pottery. These lessons are designed to be a fun activity for everyone, no matter age or experience level. 

HELENE IMPACT: Although our home and studio were not directly damaged, our clay and chemical supplier in Asheville was destroyed and is closed indefinitely. We are currently seeking out replacements. This takes time, but we are actively in process. This WILL NOT affect the pottery you make.

Included in every class option: 

• All materials and equipment

• Hands on professional instruction

• Several different glaze choices

• All firings: Batton Clayworks will carefully handle your creations for the proper drying, glazing and two firing processes which will be completed in the weeks after your class.

Other things to note:

• Flat rate $30 Shipping fee is added for USA packages. includes insurance. You may add it in your checkout (1 fee per address) or settle fee after class.

• Your pottery will be fired and ready approximately 4-6 weeks from class date. There are sometimes delays to allow for observed holidays.

• You are welcome to bring snacks and beverages. Please understand that this is a residential property and we just ask you to be responsible.

• Minors must be accompanied by at least one adult, unless agreed upon prior to lesson. (Adult does not have to participate. This is a very safe environment, but we want to be sure all needs of children are met without interruption of lesson.)

• We do not provide kiln use for any pottery made outside of our studio. 

• Full bathroom facilities onsite.

• 15 minutes late without communication will be considered a “NO SHOW”

• Handicap: The building is accessible with one small step onto the entry deck and door threshold. The bathroom is not wheelchair accessible. Please excuse any inconvenience.
